Wii MotionPlus Review



The Wii MotionPlus is an additional expansion feature for the Wii Remote Controller. This exciting expansion feature is able to capture more complex motion, thanks to the accelerometer supplement device and its Sensor Bar capabilities. The following games support the Wii MotionPlus:

Wii Sports Resort

Often the Wii MotionPlus is bundled with the Wii Sports Resort. This game is set on a beach called Wuhu Island, where you can play 12 different sports: swordplay, wakeboarding, archery, Frisbee, basketball, table tennis, canoeing, cycling, golf, bowling, Power Cruising and Air Sports.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is a golf simulation game published by the EA Games. It is Wii MotionPlus compatible, thus allowing more realistic sports motion to golf swing, ability to draw and fade.

Grand Slam Tennis

Wii MotionPlusThis tennis simulation video game features online play, Grand Slam Career Mode, four Grand Slam locations (yes, including Wimbledon!) and MotionPlus compatibility for more realistic gameplay. Plus it has some cool, pretty realistic tennis players like Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Venus Williams and Maria Sharapova.

Virtual Tennis 2009

Virtual Tennis 2009 is another tennis simulation video game developed by Sega. This game features forty courts to play on from around the globe, including Shanghai and Dubai. Mini court games included are Pirate Wars, Pot Shot, Block Buster, Zoo Feeder, Count Mania, and Shopping Dash.

Red Steel 2

Red Steel 2 is also bundled with the Wii MotionPlus. It is a shooter video game set to release first quarter of 2010. This game is strictly single player, to emphasize single player experience plus the boons of the Wii MotionPlus.

Other games that support the Wii MotionPlus include: Kidz Sports Crazy Mini Golf, Gladiator A.D., NHL 2K10, Academy of Champions, Food Network: Cook or to Be Cooked and Span Smasher.
