Nintendo Wii is a revolutionary game system that changed how people looked home game entertainment. Nintendo created a new system that was previously not available with new ideas and concepts for anyone loving gaming consoles.

The Nintendo Wii offers free online services expanding the options for the owners of the console and game system. The Virtual Console has an appeal of the old time game consoles with all of the newer and more modern features along with a built in SD slot for storage and photo viewing/sharing. The controllers are wireless allowing for more mobility during the activities.

The Nintendo Wii has the online functions of internet connectivity to different sites such as weather sports and news. The competitors offer internet connection for the games but not for the surfing the web.

The negatives of Nintendo Wii are the batteries for the controllers do not last long. To some people the online games are not exactly the right types or kinds they want for free gaming since some of the games are slow to respond and have lesser than acceptable graphics. The Wii lacks the HD graphics of the competitors as well as lacks surround sound for live appearances. It cannot play CDs or DVDs as the competitors consoles offer with their systems. To some people the multi-purpose functions of the competitors are a strong selling point while the true gamer is more interested in physical activities the Wii offers.

The Nintendo Wii lacks the graphics and media features of Xbox 360 and PS3 but it has a very unique combination of controllers with motion sensors and an extremely high importance on the fun of the games and activities. The Wii is more affordable than the competitors with more interactive games available to get the users moving and active.
