Nintendo Wii has online free games available. Some of the gamers prefer the newer games while some are still dedicated to games of the past. The variations of the games offer someone for everyone at any age or interest.

The downloaded Virtual Consoles are available to users when they select their specific channel and begin the game. The VC loads the games effortlessly and quickly adding the gaming experience.

Nintendo Wii does lack the HD graphics of Xbox 360 and PS3 but many people overlook the lack of graphics due to the quality of the games and the amount of interaction with the games of the Wii. The new version of interaction makes up for the lesser graphics for the person that wants the newest technology and activity level.

There are some noticeable differences such as the wide-screen features of the older games that were not designed for wide screen. The games are noticeably stretched to fit the screen causing them to lack the charm and appeal of the past. This feature is in the works with Nintendo to be upgraded so the variance of the past is less noticeable.

The Wiimote controller is a wireless controller since it is a motion-sensing controller that connects wirelessly to the Wii with a Bluetooth technology protocol. The controller does require a sensor bar either on top or beneath the television screen yet it is still better than having to be tied to the console with wires. The best aspect of the sensor bar is it is small and unobtrusive.

Some of the games available for the Nintendo Wii are baseball bowling golf club swings tennis and truck steering games. One game called Zelda is a sword swinging interactive game as well as Red Steel falling into the same category. The tennis game uses a tennis racket while the baseball game uses a baseball bat.
